Home Theatre PC Guide

I wish I had this Home Theatre PC Guide [via] when I was putting together my little HTPC/PVR.  This guide pretty much gives you everything you need to know to put together your own wannabe TIVO.  All you need is a an old computer, some software and a TV tuner.

Since I've had my PVR, my television viewing experience has been much better.  It's pretty sweet to be able to watch any of your favorite shows whenever you want.

The only problem with my PVR is that the codec acts a little weird now and then.  It gets all jacked like digital cable does when you change channels.
